Flower Lake and Kearsarge Lakes

Flower Lake and Kearsarge Lakes Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Kearsarge Pass provides one of the least difficult eastern gateways into the High Sierra, as the climb is fairly short and rarely at more than a moderate
grade. That ease is relative, though, because the trail
still gains more than 2,500 feet in 5 miles at high altitude. The trail is heavily used and wilderness permits are at a premium, not only because of the
relative ease but also due to the absolutely stunning terrain."
