Charlotte Lake Professional Review and Guide

"This excursion travels up the Onion Valley, passing several beautiful lakes, then climbs over windswept Kearsarge Pass. The trail passes high above the Kearsarge Lakes, and leads to pleasant Charlotte Lake.

Begin by following the Kearsarge Lakes trail from Onion Valley (Hike 84) to the Kearsarge Lakes Trail junction at 4.4 miles. Continue straight (west), undulating above the beautiful Kearsarge Lakes. The path traverses high on a ledge as you pass above the deep, blue water of Bullfrog Lake, aff ording you a view of Deerhorn Mountain, flanked by East and West Vidette."

Beautiful! Path also well maintained and easy. This also means a lot of travellers & traffic.
