Paisano Pinnacle Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Paisano Pinnacle is an amazing 50-foot-high block perched on Paisano Ledge atop the Sunshine Face. Part of its base juts out over the Sunshine Face, forming a roof. The Paisano Overhang climbs the crack that splits this roof. This same crack cleaves the entire pinnacle, and the Paisano Jam Crack route climbs the crack on the opposite side of the block. The easiest approach is up Bye Gully, or up any of the Sunshine Face routes that end at Paisano Ledge. It can also be accessed from the top of the cliff, by a short downclimb (exposed 4th class) down a smooth slab that slants down to rappel bolts directly above the pinnacle. This rappel (80 feet) ends on Paisano Ledge."
