    "From Happy Camp (65 miles west of Yreka on CA 96), drive 1 mile southwest on Curly Jack Road. About the campground: On the banks of the Klamath, the campground provides excellent access to the river.

    The swimming location is among the best on the river. Fishing is good for trout in late spring and early summer, for steelhead in late fall and early winter. Salmon catches are possible in late fall. The campground is also near Elk, Doolittle, Ikes, and Deer Lick Creeks. Elevation 1,075 feet. Stay limit 14 days. Open April through October."
