Beautiful hike. Wapamana Falls is a lot of fun early in the season when flow is high and wind is blowing mist across the bridge. The First ~5 miles of the hike are along Hetch Hetchy Reservoir, high above largley with beautiful vistas. Rancheria Falls campground is large and adequate. The Falls cascade more than fall, but hike to the bridge above the for a great view down to the reservoir. The switchbacks up to the saddle between Rancheria and Tiltill Valley are strenuous. In early spring I stopped counting after 10 trees downed across the trail many necessitating off trail hiking to get around. The guidebooks aren't lying when they say Tiltill meadow will be a sopping mush in spring. It was ankle deep when I went. There were several decent campsites, and one really large one. This was a good early season hike when many other places are still snowbound.
