Cascade Creek from Tamarack Campground

Cascade Creek from Tamarack Campground Professional Review and Guide

"The trail to Cascade Creek is a quiet, secluded hike along the original Big Oak Flat Road that led to Yosemite Valley back in 1874. The abandoned road has been closed to vehicles since landslides blocked its path in 1945. The trail passes through a cedar, fir, and pine forest, paralleling a tributary of Cascade Creek to a bridge crossing Cascade Creek. The creek has pools for swimming near the bridge."
