Six Peaks of the Western San Bernardinos Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Six minor summits are clustered on the north slopes of the San Bernardino Mountains overlooking Holcomb and Deep Creeks and Little Pine Flat. These peaks are named Shay and Little Shay Mountains, Ingham Peak, Deer and Old Deer Mountains, and Hawes Peak. Shay and Little Shay are reportedly named for Art Shay, an early ranger at the Coxey Ranger Station. Hawes Peak was named for a 19th Century cattleman, possibly Francis Hawes, the founder of Hawes Ranch."
