Central Coast Ridge Road

Central Coast Ridge Road Professional Review and Guide

"This is an out-and-back, 10.8-mile round-trip ride. It requires little technical skill, the terrain is generally easy to moderate, and there is plenty of shade. The unpaved, two-wheel-drive road is in good condition. After approximately four miles you'll encounter a quarter-mile steep hill that contains some loose rock and rutting. Central Coast Ridge Road winds back and forth along the ridge, providing alternate views of the Pacific Ocean to the west and the interior valleys and mountains of the Ventana wilderness to the east."
