Sheep Creek and Lookout Peak

Sheep Creek and Lookout Peak Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This trip follows the Don Cecil Trail to the top of Lookout Peak, from which hikers have a bird’s-eye view of the deep cleft of Kings Canyon and an impressive vista of the peaks and ridges in the back-country of Kings Canyon National Park.

While a few tourists may hike the first part of the trail to the cool grotto of Sheep Creek, the remaining 4 miles of trail sees little use—a definite bonus for solitude seekers."
