Virgin Creek

Virgin Creek Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This is a small beach where Virgin Creek meets the ocean just north of Fort Bragg. The beach at Virgin Creek is a few-minute walk from where you can park on Highway 1. If it’s on, you’ll probably see at least one car with surf racks parked in the lot where the path begins.

Once you get to the bluff overlooking the break, you’ll be able to see where the creek comes in and where the waves are breaking best. This beach is mostly west facing, so it works best with energy from the west and northwest. With an organized swell, the peaks at Virgin Creek can be nicely shaped and the waves fast."
