Ten Mile Beach Trail

Fort Bragg, California

Ten Mile Beach Trail Professional Review and Guide

"This trail is an old logging road, now closed to the motorized vehicles due to several washed-out sections. The path leads past MacKerricher Dunes, one of the coast’s longest dune systems and Inglenook Fen, a coastal wetland. The fen shelters rare plants, like marsh pennywort and rein orchid, and is home to several endemic insect species. Terrain: Using pavement, gravel, and sandy beach paths, tour beaches, dunes, and a salt marsh."
