Three Lakes Trail Professional Reviews and Guides

"Foothill Regional Park offers open, scenic views within easy access of the town of Windsor. The park has almost seven miles of multi-use trails that crisscross over the old ranchland. (Many of the trails follow old ranch roads.) The park has three manmade ponds that were originally created in the 1960s when it was a ranch. The ponds are now a drinking source for wild animals and may be used for fishing but not swimming. This hike begins on the Three Lakes Trail and circles the perimeter of all three ponds, forming three loops."
