Rockville Hills Regional Park

Rockville Hills Regional Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Sometimes the best trails are the backyard trails, the ones locals turn to when they need an afternoon escape. Having a destination like a waterfall or a historic site might be the best reason to seek out a trail, but sometimes the point is simply the pleasure of walking. That’s what Rockville Hills offers.

Yes, there’s a lake, there’s a cave, there’s a hilltop rock garden, and there are wonderful views. But much of this 633-acre park’s appeal lies in the good condition and easy pitch of its trails, its calming oak woodlands and open meadows, and its unpretentious friendliness."
