This hike climbs to the top of Mt. Tamalpais for great views, then loops back to Lake Lagunitas past streams and secluded forests. Lots of bicycle traffic on weekends.

Great day hike...start in the morning so that you can get up Eldridge Grade before it gets too hot as there is lots of sun exposure. Great views on the way to the top...I would recommend the additional 0.3miles to the top of East Peak for even better views and a nice place for lunch.
