This easy hike is overrun by bicyclists on the weekends, but weekdays (outside fishing season) are quiet and serene.

The trail was vey difficult the last .3 miles (very slippery and steep with ruts). However, the view at the peak of Kwaay Paay was magnificant, with views of Mexico, and San Diego Bay. We could see the Coronado bridge and Pt Loma Lighthouse. Although trip up was difficult with our bad knees, the time we spent eating lunch and napping was made very pleasant with the wind and many large rocks to rest (and sleep) on.
