Lyons Creek Trail (16E13) Professional Review and Guide

"Although many people focus on the ultimate destinations of this trail—Sylvia and Lyons lakes in the Desolation Wilderness—its real attractions are the beautiful waterfalls and wildflowers along the way. The trailside cascades and flower-spangled meadows make the Lyons Creek Trail one of the more scenic routes into the Desolation Wilderness. Although it climbs higher than the nearby Twin Lakes Trail, it does so over twice the distance, which makes it a more moderate but diverse route into the Wilderness."
