Willow Canyon

Willow Canyon Professional Review and Guide

"Seasonal waterfalls provide a suitable home for bighorn sheep in Willow Canyon. The hike is easily accesssible from the Badwater Road. Although the ratio of hiking the alluvial fan to hiking in the canyon may seem lopsided, this hike features a gem of a canyon.

Clearly a bighorn sheep playground, Willow Canyon cuts short your visit at a 70-foot wall with spectacular ribbon waterfall in season. Prior to that obstacle the canyon winds its narrow way like a street in a medieval city through sheer rhyolite walls, with a tinkling stream intermittently flowing down its center."
