Tin Mine Canyon

Tin Mine Canyon Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Tin Mine Canyon is named for an unsuccessful mining operation that took place between 1860 and 1890. The canyon now has a popular and delightful trail leading past some of the old adits and along a creek to a small waterfall.

Poison oak is plentiful in the upper part of the trail, so wear pants and long-sleeved shirts. Although dogs, horses, and bikes are permitted, they are not recommended because the trail is short and has so much poison oak."
