Santa Ana River Trail

Santa Ana River Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Over the years, Orange County has developed an extensive system of regional trails and bikeways. Three of these trails are especially notable because they trace important watersheds from the foot of the Santa Ana Mountains to the Pacific Ocean: the Santa Ana River Trail, the Mountains to Sea Trail, and the Aliso Creek Trail.

These long-distance trails all pass various city and regional parks that serve as staging areas. You can expect to meet cyclists, joggers, and parents pushing baby strollers, as well as hikers tracing segments or the complete trails. Each of the descriptions in this section summarizes the trail’s main
attractions and key access points, and they’re organized by mileage value and trailhead."
