Prado Lake Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Prado Regional Park is a popular destination for families and anglers. Located on 2200 acres leased by San Bernardino County from the Army Corps of Engineers, it features a 60-acre lake, sports fields, an enormous playground, camping, picnicking, and, of course, a walking trail. It is located close to Chino Airport, which is home to excellent aircraft museums; you may see vintage bombers and fighter planes circling overhead. The Prado Flood Control Basin to the south attracts copious wildlife because it is one of the few remaining undeveloped areas in the region. The park is open yearround, though it can be very hot during summer days. For current hours and information, contact the park at (909) 697-4260."
