Terminal Geyser and Little Willow Lake

Terminal Geyser and Little Willow Lake Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"On this trip, hikers can sample some of the park’s more interesting hydrothermal features while avoiding the hordes of tourists found in similar areas near the main park road, like Sulphur Works and Bumpass Hell.

After visiting the flower-covered meadows around Drakesbad, hikers arc around the west side of geologically fascinating Boiling Springs Lake. From there, 2 miles of forested hiking leads to Terminal Geyser, where clouds of steam rise out of a multicolored canyon and billow into the sky. Little Willow Lake lies just a mile southwest of the main trail for those seeking an additional destination."
