Kanawyer Loop Trail Professional Review and Guide
"Roads End is a very popular trailhead for the army of recreationists bound for the heart of the southern Sierra. Undoubtedly, you will share the first half of this loop with plenty of fellow dayhikers, backpackers, and equestrians headed for popular destinations via the Paradise Valley and Bubbs Creek Trails. On the second half the number of troops should fall off dramatically, raising the opportunity for solitude. The Kanawyer Loop is an easy stroll along the nearly level floor of Kings Canyon, making it a trip for just about anyone. Be prepared for hot summertime temperatures at these elevations, but relief is never too far away with the prospect of a refreshing dip in South Fork Kings River."
