Ridge Trail

Ridge Trail is a hiking trail in Santa Cruz County, California. It is within San Lorenzo Headwaters Natural Preserve and Castle Rock State Park. It is 1.7 miles long and begins at 2,762 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 3.5 miles with a total elevation gain of 1,847 feet. The Robert H. Geisler Woodland Grove wood, Varian Peak (elevation 2,864 feet), and Russel Point, Emily Smith Observation Point, and another viewpoint can be seen along the trail. There is also a cliff along the trail. Near the end of the trail are a bench and an information map. This trail connects with the following: Goat Rock Trail, Inner Connector Trail and Saratoga Gap Trail.
