The Cypress Grove Trail is a clifftop loop trail around Allan Memorial Grove in Point Lobos State Reserve. The trail passes through one of only two natural stands of Monterey cypress in the world. (The other occurs at Cypress Point on the west side of the Monterey Peninsula.) The hike loops around rugged, weath- ered cliffs with stunning views of Cypress Cove, Pinnacle Cove, South Point, Headland Cove, and The Pinnacle, a narrow peninsula at the northernmost point in the reserve.
