Buckeye Nature Trail Professional Review and Guide
"The Buckeye Nature Trail is an interpretive trail through cool, moist woods lined with ferns, fungi, and poison oak in a forest of buckeye, oak, and bay laurel trees. Information stations describe plants used by Native Americans and settlers, including those used for medicine, food seasonings, fishing, and musical instruments. The trail returns by the Rumsen Grinding Rock, two flat, high boulders with bedrock mortars. The holes were worn into the rock by native people grinding acorns into edible meal."
