The Anastasia Trail is a 2.8-mile-long trail connecting Carmel Valley Road with Tassajara Road. This hike follows the remote, stream-fed canyon floor through open valleys and a lush sycamore and black oak forest into Bear Trap Canyon. Cahoon Spring, a natural spring, is located in the canyon. The water flows out of a pipe into a watering trough in the shade of towering black oaks. This is a lightly traveled hiking and equestrian corridor, offering quiet solitude.

Alot of downed trees, trail itself is torn up in a few places, and Fresno Camp seems like it hasnt been used in a long time. Very nice place, the river is an added plus.
