The Ragged Point Cliffside Trail cuts across the edge of the steep, rugged, north-facing cliff where the San Luis Obispo coast turns into the Big Sur coast. The Cliffside Trail ends at the black sand beach and rocky shore at the base of Black Swift Falls, a 300-foot tiered waterfall. Benches are perched on the cliff for great views of the sheer coastal mountains plunging into the sea. The Ragged Point Nature Trail follows the perimeter of the peninsula along the high blufftop terrace. There are scenic vista points and an overlook platform.
