Middle Boulder and Telephone Lakes Loop Professional Review and Guide

"If you’re determined to see all of the Boulder Lakes in the Trinity Alps (one map lists seven), then you’ll pass this way eventually. Your time won’t be wasted. Like most of the hikes on the north side of the Scott Mountains, this route serves up a gentle hike along meadow-lined creeks, past forest-fringed lakes, and along the Pacific Crest Trail. But be forewarned: you have to share the lovely scenery with cows, or at least the results of cows passing through. Highlights: A short loop with varied terrain, several lakes, and great views."

Loved this hike, great camp sites, plenty of solitude, epic views... and great fishing at Middle Boulder. Oh, and I LOVED this hike :)
