Green Creek

Bridgeport, California

Green Creek Professional Review and Guide

"The Green Creek drainage offers high drama and great photos because of its vivid, red-and-white metamorphic rocks, intensely blue lakes, green forests, and in fall, golden aspen groves. It is a fairly steady uphill pull to the crest of the ridge, but there are plenty of excuses to stop and plenty of places to camp all the way up if you want to spend the night."

Good hike, LOTS of waterfalls and water everywhere. Pack light on the h20 and bring a filter. One thing...I counted 24 downed trees, some of the completely uprooted and covering the trail...so be prepared to scramble over and through them! Hikin' Daddy!
