Lake Sabrina to Blue Lake Professional Review and Guide
"This short but rigorous day hike leads into a spectacular, peak-rimmed alpine lake basin in the eastern Sierra. The immense, glacier-carved bowl of the Middle Fork Bishop Creek, popularly known as Sabrina Basin, boasts three dozen lakes, ranging in elevation from 9,700 to 12,400 feet. Many of these lakes feature excellent fishing, and all have a backdrop of jagged crags approaching 14,000 feet. The lower lakes are typically forest-rimmed, while the higher lakes are rockbound."
