Gem Lakes Trail

Bishop, California

Gem Lakes Trail Professional Review and Guide

"This hike is a series of alpine meadows interlaced with streams and lakes galore in exchange for a few moderate inclines and the likely lightheadedness that comes with beginning a jaunt at 10,000 feet. Just remember to savor it slowly. Walk to the far end of the parking lot, past the bathroom on your right and the footbridge on your left, onto the wide, mostly hard-packed dirt trail."
