Vicente Flat is a large, beautiful camp on the banks of Hare Canyon Creek in the Ventana Wilderness. The camp sits in a grove of majestic old-growth redwoods and a sunny meadow the size of a football field. The Vicente Flat Trail (also known as the Kirk Creek Trail) is one of the most scenic and diverse hikes in the Ventana Wilderness. Along the route are sweeping views from the ocean to Cone Peak as well as deep, forested canyons.
