This relatively easy hike loops through the heart of Andrew Molera State Park, from the Big Sur River to a ridge with wonderful views of the coastline. The trail climbs 570 feet, winding in and out of shady live oak glens and grassy coyote brush slopes, to Pfeiffer Ridge (Molera Ridge). From the ridge are 360-degree panoramic views of the crenelated coastline, Point Sur, the Big Sur River canyon, Mount Manuel, and Pico Blanco. The path follows the ridge, the backbone of Andrew Molera State Park, then returns back through Creamery Meadow.
