The De Angulo Trail is a steep, unpaved, narrow road through the Wild Oak Ranch property. The serpentine road climbs up the mountain along the ocean side of Partington Ridge and leads to the Coast Ridge Road at 3.8 miles. This hike heads up the first 2.5 miles to a knoll on Partington Ridge, where there are far-reaching views up and down the Pacific coastline and across the interior mountains. Disregard the “No Trespassing” signs at the trailhead, as the road is a public right-of-way for hikers.
