Inyo Mountains Drive Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"With the geologically linked White Mountains, the Inyos form the eastern wall of 10,000-foot-deep Owens Valley. Not as high as the Sierra or the Whites, they still provide an exhilarating driving experience. In addition to views of the Inyos’ canyons and ridges, you will have magnificent vistas across the Owens Valley to the Sierra. You will exit at Death Valley Road (a.k.a. Saline Valley/ Eureka Valley Road). This route, which runs along the western and northern boundary of the Inyo Mountains Wilderness, connects to Tour 5 (The Narrows and Papoose Flat) at Papoose Flat."
