Brainard Lake Trail

Brainard Lake Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Brainard Lake lies in a deep bowl of granite, surrounded by glacier-clad summits towering over 13,000 feet. Massive cliffs create a vertical shoreline for the icy blue waters. This scenic lake is located high up the South Fork Big Pine Creek valley. The trail to Brainard Lake is rough, steep, and hard to follow in some sections. Campsites are small and limited in number."
