Hunt Hot Springs

Hunt Hot Springs Professional Review and Guide

"Adjacent to the Pit River, these pools are substantially less developed than those at Big Bend. There are several choices at Hunt Hot Springs, from concrete pools on the riverbank to rock-lined pools in the river itself. Because these springs are located in a relatively underpopulated part of the state, and reached by a rough road, you should have a good chance at solitude. Your best bet is during the week. Nevertheless, the location is worth a visit. Although the water supplying the pools is hot, adding or subtracting creek water can regulate the temperature quite nicely. Primitive, although some of the pools are manmade (concrete)."
