Spicer Reservoir Campground is like an ugly dog you’ve got to love because he hunts so well. The whole place looks like it was made by a drunk on a bulldozer run amok. The trees are all laying down, their big bare trunks all over the place like mastodon bones. You will get there and suffer from visual shock. Then, if you don’t run away in horror but set up a camp instead, suddenly the place starts to grow on you. You realize how friendly it all is and what incredible things there are to do here.
