Loves Falls Professional Review and Guide
"While the rest of the Sierra remains buried under snow, early-season hikers can stroll along this low-elevation section of the Pacific Crest Trail to a set of dramatic, cascading waterfalls. The short hike provides a pleasant journey for bipeds of all ages. Spring or early summer is the best time to see the falls in all their glory, but stay on the trail at all times, as the rocks along the banks of the North Yuba River are wet and slippery, and a slip into the river almost certainly would be fatal."
