West Fork to Monrovia Peak

West Fork to Monrovia Peak Professional Review and Guide

"A beautiful ride, this loop travels along the scenic West Fork of the San Gabriel River before climbing over Cogswell Dam, where you have views of the San Gabriel Wilderness. A great choice for families, the initial paved part of this ride makes a pleasant, easy 13-mile out-and-back trip for those not up to the challenge of the whole loop. More conditioned cyclists who opt for the full loop are rewarded with an 8-mile downhill at the end, one of the best fire road descents in the area. Bring plenty of water as there's none en route."

This is very nice trail for who wants to do more casual bike ride. I only did half of the trail, nicely paved and pretty flat until you get to the reservoir on the top.
