Traveling the entire trail is 0.7 miles with a total elevation gain of 56 feet. The Bort Meadow Group Camp site and the Bort Meadow Campground Parking are near the trailhead. There are also bbqs, picnic sites, and restroom. The Boat Meadow Staging Area parking can be seen along the trail. There is also drinking water along the trail.
