This large loop hike through Las Posadas State Forest visits the site of the Las Posadas Pioneer Cemetery atop Graveyard Knoll. Seven members of the John Morris family, owners of this land, were buried on the knoll in the 1800s. Inscribed stone markers date back to 1880. For centuries prior to this, it was a Native American resting spot. The rounded knoll offers 360-degree vistas through the trees. The trail also explores redwood groves with fairy rings.
