Anderson Peak Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This excellent backpack trip tours the north slopes and high western divides of the San Gorgonio high country, offering many fine places to camp and far-ranging vistas stretching across southern California’s wildest mountain country.

This excellent loop trip explores the western end of the San Gorgonio Wilderness and includes an ascent of the highest peak west of Dollar Lake Saddle. The unmaintained trail leading past Johns Meadow to the San Bernardino Peak Divide offers a refreshing change of pace from more popular, sometimes crowded San Gorgonio Wilderness trails."
