"This is a great course leading to the summit of Mount Lukens near the western end of the San Gabriel Mountains overlooking Sunland, Tujunga, the San Fernando Valley, and the Verdugo Mountains. At 5,078 feet, it is the highest summit in Los Angeles and provides fantastic views of the city and surrounding mountains. It can be quite cold and windy at this altitude, so check the weather conditions in advance and plan accordingly."
