The tiny (58-acre) gem that is Oak Canyon Nature Center squeezes between a golf course and a reservoir on one side and a suburban housing tract on the other. Small children have plenty of room to roam on the tightly nested 4 miles worth of hiking trails here. Parking is free, but the nature center requests a small entrance donation.
