    Likely Mountain Trail

    Likely Mountain Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Likely Mountain Trail leaves Ash Valley Road (CR 527) and travels a long arc through a mixture of vegetation to finish on US 395. The well-used formed trail leaves from the west side of Holbrook Reservoir near the site of Fleming Sheep Camp; little remains of the camp.

Special Attractions include: Trail passes the sites of Portuguese and Fleming Sheep Camps; Panoramic views from Likely Fire Lookout; Mountain bike trail from US 395 to Likely Fire Lookout; Lightly traveled trail through a variety of forest and open landscapes. High-clearance 4WDs are preferred, but any high-clearance vehicle is acceptable. Expect a rough road surface; mud and sand are possible but will be easily passable. You may encounter rocks up to 6 inches in diameter, a loose road surface, and shelf roads, though these will be wide enough for passing or will have adequate pull-offs."
