Cedar Pass Snow Park Ski Area

Cedar Pass Snow Park Ski Area Professional Review and Guide

"Located in the remote northeast kingdom of California is the two million-acre Modoc National Forest. Originally home to the Modoc, Northern Paiute, and Achomawi Native American tribes, the land was used by these hunter-gatherers for its abundance of resources.

Within the national forest lie the Warner Mountains that offer up a small but mighty ski area called Cedar Pass Snow Park. Though the volunteers who operate the mountain had the 1999 season off due to lack of snow, there’s no shortage of things to do when the area has coverage: quick runs with no lift lines, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, ice skating, ice fishing, and snow play. It’s the most untamed region of California, and the wide-open spaces coupled with a lack of glitter is this area’s true gold. This eTrail contains a thorough description of the resort including driving directions, mountain statistics, trail profiles, extensive lodging & dining information, travel tips, and much more."
