Los Alamitos Creek Trail Professional Review and Guide
"In the Almaden Valley the Los Alamitos Creek Trail, south of popular 65-acre Almaden Lake, follows levees upstream to the confluence of Los Alamitos and Calero Creeks. Upstream along Calero Creek are paved trails beside Camden Avenue as far as Harry Road, from where a path continues up the creek and into Santa Teresa Park. Beyond the confluence, where Los Alamitos Creek trends southwest, a paved trail continues on its east bank almost a mile to McKean Road. On the west bank is a wide horse and hiker trail."
