Rock-It Trail Professional Reviews and Guides
"Located in Aliso / Wood Canyons, Laguna Beach. Highlights: Singletrack descent with rock-shelf drop down Rock-It Trail. Views above Laguna Beach overlook the Pacific Ocean. Hazards: Rattlesnakes."

"The trailhead at Alta Laguna Boulevard represents the highest elevation on the route. This means that all the climbing comes at the end of the ride. The initial downhill to Wood Canyon begins on West Ridge Road and finishes with a rambunctiously bumpy ride down the Rock- It Trail. The fun continues as you wind out of the Coyote Run Trail to Mathis Canyon. A short, scenic detour along the Dripping Cave Trail loops back to the Mathis Canyon Trail. This is where you have to make up all the lost elevation. The Mathis Canyon Trail is a brute of a climb, but it’s the fastest way back up to the ridge. From the top of the Mathis Canyon Trail, backtrack along West Ridge Road, up one steep climb, to the trailhead."
