Hells' Hole Trail: Salome Wilderness Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"There are many places in Arizona named Hell's Hole (two are in the Tonto National Forest). This one, in the Salome Wilderness, is the most famous and accessible. That said, it remains relatively remote.
This hike goes over a couple of ridges and then descends 1,000 feet into the Canyon, near the confluence of Reynolds and Workman creeks. The hiking time allows for a slower pace up the switchbacks. Many hikers do this as an overnight. OUTSTANDING FEATURES: Bigpink boulders, scenic overlooks, riparian swimming area, waterfalls."
